Considering the fact that change is a major stressor in people’s lives, and that our world currently changes at such an exponential rate, then it shouldn’t come as any surprise that our bodies and minds are challenged.  If we consider that the human body, as a tool, hasn’t really changed in the last thousand years (or more?) then we might say that the human body is outdated.  With the Internet only just over 20 years old, yet it is such a regular component of our everyday lives, then how can we expect our human body and it’s mechanisms to be “current”?
